2022/2023 was our first year as an acredited high school. It has been a year rich with projects and discoveries.
Our projects were all guided by three main aims :
- to diversify our teaching practices,
- to develop more actions towards a better environment and
- to ensure well being for all members of our community.
Thereby, 5 teachers had the opportunity to take courses or do job shadowing in Finland, Italy, Croatia, Spain and Hungary.
And 36 students were also thrilled to meet partners in :
- Dublin for grade 11 students in biotechnologies: they worked on common experiments with their peers and attended conferences at the University of technology.
- Palermo for grade 12 students in construction for a sustainable world. They have shared knowledge and worked with peers from ISS Mario Rutelli.
- In Catalonia, for a group of ecodélégués (school rep for a greener school) who got the opportunity to work with peers from IES Celra.
- and in Potenza, south of Italy, for a group of students focalizing on gender equality: they compared history and manners with students their age from Liceo Rosa Gianturco.
Our school was also happy to host teachers visiting for observation, from Alicante and Celra ; and we also welcomed Alexander, a student from our partner school near Salzburg, who came to practice French and for a first long term experience abroad.
Most of these projects will continue next school year and we will develop others, particularly for our students in marketing with our partner BHAK BHAS in Hallein, Austria.
